Winter is a time of bare branches, cold weather and hibernation. Sometimes the times of our lives resonate with the seasons. During winter we can become particularly aware of the challenges we are facing.
If you are struggling with loneliness, the ending of relationships, physical or mental distress, or financial worries, the winter season can feel especially difficult.
Blue Winter is a gentle, reflective service where grief, pain or disappointment can be acknowledged and offered to God - providing an opportunity to experience His compassion and comfort.
We invite you to join us for a 45-minute service with scripture readings, prayers, communion, candle-lighting and space to reflect in your own way. After the service there will be an opportunity to have somebody pray with you if you would like.
All are welcome.
7.30-8.30pm, followed by supper at Urban Vineyard Church, 3-5 Ruru Street, Eden Terrace, Auckland (parking available)
