For families and children

"TREASURE SEEKERS"

Our mission:  Working together with parents to equip and enthuse Urban Vineyard’s kids to become authentic followers of Jesus.

Our aim: At Treasure Seekers we aim to inspire our kids to be on fire for Jesus. We act deliberately in teaching about Jesus, the bible, and how to live a life following Jesus. Mixing loads of fun with biblical teachings is one of our goals at Treasure Seekers and we want our kids to be chatting with their friends enthusiastically about church.

Programme: We have designed a dynamic programme that is engaging and incorporates a relevant context to meet the needs of our kiwi kids at Treasure Seekers. There are programmes in place for children of all ages ranging from pre-school to primary school kids targeting their specific age groups running at our 10am service.

Registration: For safety, we require all children to be signed in to Treasure Seekers during the break (after the family worship time at the beginning of the service). At the conclusion of the service your child/children will be brought back into the auditorium to be with you.

0-3 year olds

The Hive (Creche 0-3 year olds) is a nurturing space with a relaxed setting, located directly off the auditorium. It is set up with two play areas, with baby toys for our little ones and another with activities for our 2-3 year olds. The Hive is equipped with loads of fun toys accompanied by child minders each Sunday.

4-5 year olds

Hook's Hideaway is a vibrant room for our 4-5 year olds, with great toys and hands on activities focused on making learning about God fun.

6-10 years

Blackbeard's Cabin (6-10 year olds) have loads of fun mixed with engaging programmes that inspire kids to live a life following Jesus.

11 YEARS+

Elevate is a dedicated programme held during term time for 11-14 year olds. Each session is packed with fun, food and games as well as interactive activities that engage and inspire our young people to follow Jesus.

For our city

wednesday community

Every Wednesday, we host a gathering in the Urban cafe to bless our neighbours and local residents. We'd love you to join us, so why not come down? We meet at 11am to pray together and help prepare the food, or just come along from 12pm onwards for good food and great conversation. Please contact us before you turn up. Contact Cameron Webster 0210769529.

Our food parcels are available for anyone in our church community who has need, and also for our friends and family whom we would like to bless. Please see a Nourish team member after the services.
