We’re spending Term 1 focusing our groups and Sunday teaching on a book called “God in my Everything: How an Ancient Rhythm Helps Busy People Enjoy God” by Ken Shigematsu. It’s a really good book and it would be fabulous if everyone had a paper or digital copy of their own to read and work from. (Of course you will still get loads from the Sunday meetings and groups if you are just visiting). E-book versions are currently on sale, available via Apple iBooks,  Amazon & Kobo - more details on Facebook. Urban Groups have started and are working through the material each week.

A parents & babies room is available during the Sunday meetings with audio link - and refreshments available. A toddlers space is available in the cafe.

Our groups are a vital part of who we are what what we do as a church. Some are for those already part of Urban and some are for those not yet in church. There are a number of groups and opportunities to connect during the week with our Urban groups, most held here at Ruru Street.
Mondays, 6.00-7.00pm: Prayer for Urban and our City. Every Monday from 6-7 in the auditorium. Prayer and worship focussed on our city.
Wednesdays, 11.00am-1.00pm: Community Lunch, with Will Durbin. This is such a great community event for anyone to be part of. You are welcome to meet and eat together.
Wednesdays, 7.30-9.00pm: Emma Crawley’s Group. Exploring how to help busy people enjoy God working from the Sunday talks and our book "God in My Everything".
Thursdays, 7.00-9.00pm: Urban Youth, with Barry Burton. Starting March 8th. Year 9-13s. An awesome evening for your teens.
Friday mornings: A Group for Women, with Leanne Bycroft. Starting shortly - watch this space for more details.
G3s: G3s are groups of 3-4 people who meet for an hour a week to work through some questions focused on spiritual growth, or focus on a topical study/book. There are a number of G3s happening already, so another option is to find 2-3 people and start a new one. If you can't make it to an Urban@5 group a G3 is a brilliant option.
