Urban Vineyard meets in two central Auckland locations on Sundays. We would love you to join us at either our 10am or 5pm gatherings.
On Sundays at 5pm we meet at 3-5 Ruru St, Eden Terrace.
Basement level on the corner of New North Road and Ruru St. Parking is available on the street and also onsite. All named carparks can be used on a Sunday except for Jetts Fitness parks. Follow the flags and signs.
We have a new 'community pantry'. Bring along cans of food and place them in the basket for redistribution, or come and take from it if you have need.
SCREEN NIGHT - Saturday 25 August, 7.00pm at Ruru St
Save the date! We will be showing the rugby and the movie "Hidden Figures" - you choose which you want to join!
Our groups are a vital part of who we are what what we do as a church. Some are for those already part of Urban and some are for those not yet in church. There are a number of groups and opportunities to connect during the week with our Urban groups, most held here at Ruru Street.
Mondays, 6.00-7.00pm: Prayer for Urban and our City. Every Monday from 6-7 in the auditorium. Prayer and worship focused on our city.
Tuesdays, 6.00-7:00pm: Te Reo Maori Class with Harlem Potangaroa Each week we learn and practice a bit more of this beautiful language with our very gifted teacher.
Wednesdays, 11.00am-1.00pm: Community Lunch, with Will Durbin. This is such a great community event for anyone to be part of. You are welcome to meet and eat together.
Wednesdays, 7.30-9.00pm: "The Reason For God", with Emma Crawley. Six session DVD series by Tim Keller, exploring common objections to Christianity. Supper, video and discussion.
Thursdays, 7.00-9.00pm: Urban Youth, with Barry Burton. For Year 9-13s. An awesome evening for your teens.
Fridays, 10.00-11.30am: "Emotionally Healthy Woman", with Leanne Bycroft. A DVD, discussion and Bible study looking at the things we need to quit to change our lives. For women (and infants under 1 year are welcome).
G3s: G3s are groups of 3-4 people who meet for an hour a week to work through some questions focused on spiritual growth, or focus on a topical study/book. There are a number of G3s happening already, so another option is to find 2-3 people and start a new one. If you can't make it to an Urban@5 group a G3 is a brilliant option.
For further details on joining a group, contact Emma Crawley on 021 024 82508 or firstname.lastname@example.org
On Sundays at 10am we meet at the St Paul's College Hall in Ponsonby - entrance via Moira St, Ponsonby. Parking is available onsite - drive into St Pauls College via the entrance at the end of Moira St, follow the driveway around the hall and park down on the courts.
We’d love for you to partner with us as we restart our monthly food parcel drop to a halfway house in our community, for those living rough or struggling to make ends meet. This is a great opportunity for us to build relationships in the wider community and to grow as a church. We will need lots of food so please donate canned goods, dry foods and anything else that can be cooked/eaten easily. There is a basket by the welcome desk on Sundays for you to drop these off. If you would like to be involved in physically dropping the food off then speak to Sam or Cam. Let us all pray that God will guide and use us to bless His community!
We’ve been created by God for community, and our Urban groups are an easy way to connect with each other and build deeper relationships. See the details of the groups below and contact Charlie Baker to join one today.
Brew Bros. - Tuesdays at 7.30pm: We brew our own beer, hang out, and sample a few craft beers. A great way to get to know some of the other Urban guys better.
Alpha - Wednesdays at 7.00pm: Explore the big questions of life, faith and meaning.
Girls Group - Thursdays at 7.30pm: This is a great chance to get to know other women from Urban better, with plenty of space to chat and pray.
Family Group - Saturdays (fortnightly) at 2.30pm: Once a fortnight, we meet at kid-friendly spots like bike parks and playgrounds. There’s heaps for kids to do while we get to connect with each other. Get in touch so we can let you know the dates and locations.
